The Assistant Director of the Advanced Division has the responsibility of managing the assigned 135 Instrument Instructor Pilots who teach the Initial Entry Rotary Wing Course for instrument flight qualification, the Rotary Wing Instrument Flight Examiner’s Course, the Rotary Wing Instrument Course and the Advanced IFR Training Course. The Assistant Director is also responsible for the counseling of all students who receive unsatisfactory evaluations during their training in either the simulator or aircraft. He makes recommendations to the Student Management Officer 1/223d Aviation Regiment as to the student’s disposition.

Mr. Sneckenberger has been with the flight training contractor for 18 years and is a former Master Army aviator and Instrument Flight Examiner with 5,000 hours of rotary and fixed wing flight time.
