| Air Traffic Control Manager of the Year - Monday, April 06, 2009SSG Robert A. Price, Jr. with the 1st Bn. 58th Avn. Regt. in Iraq was selected as the Army's Air Traffic Control Manager of the Year for 2008. SSG Price is the son of Bob and Donna Price of Primary Division. He was recognized for his outstanding leadership and service, which contributed greatly to the success of the 1-58th Aviation. We can all be proud of this superlative young NCO and member of the LSI family. |
| 2009 Woman of the Year - Monday, April 06, 2009Ms. Patricia Fleming, Pick 266, Flight Six, Advanced Division was selected as the 2009 Fort Rucker Woman of the Year in the government contract employee category. Pat has been an instrument instructor pilot since 1983 and is an outstanding example of the LSI men and women who train America's finest to be Army and Air Force rotary wing aviators. Congratulations, Pat!! |
| TH-67 Million Hour Ceremony - Friday, February 09, 2007 - Friday, March 09, 2007 On 8 February, Mr. Steve Dodge of Charger Flight/Primary Division and his student, WO1 Jacob Rettig, Class #07-05 presented the -12 for the One Millionth flight hour in the TH-67 Creek helicopter to Major General Virgil L. Packett, Commanding General, US Army Aviation Warfighting Center. Mr. Dodge was also honored with flying the first student in the TH-67 upon its arrival at Fort Rucker in 1993. This is another example of LSI's continuing commitment to training the finest Army and Air Force helicopter pilots in the world. |
